Safety guidelines

The health and safety of our visitors, volunteers, and staff has always been, and will continue to be, our highest priority. Our health and safety plan has been developed and implemented in accordance with WorkSafe BC and the Province of British Columbia’s requirements for operating during COVID-19. We continue to closely monitor this evolving situation and will adjust our plan as needed.

Help protect yourself and others

Please stay home if you have any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, new muscle aches or headache, or sore throat.

Please sanitize your hands upon entering the Deep Cove Cultural Centre and before participating in any of our programs. Hand sanitizer is available throughout the Deep Cove Cultural Centre, in the Gallery, and Gallery Shop.

Masks are not required, but are appreciated

Attending a program at the gallery

Families are required to register for programming ahead of time.

One household is permitted per time slot.

Due to space limitations, a maximum of 6 members per household may attend the workshops. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Participants will be asked to sign and date a health checklist before entering the workshop.

Unused and sanitized materials will be provided for each workshop session. Workstations will be sanitized after each session in preparation for the next group.

Participants are asked to complete their artwork within their scheduled time slot. Anyone who has not finished their creation in that time will be able to bring home materials to complete the project.

We have implemented a thorough cleaning checklist and schedule for the Deep Cove Cultural Centre and the Seymour Art Gallery.

Thank you
